Merry Christmas FBStamps...

Trying to get back into doing some crafting. It's been awhile as I'm now back to caring for a new grand baby! She's a honey but I deff don't get as much play time in.

FBStamps latest release has some super cute stamp sets! And this stamp is one of my favorites!!!

I chose some patterned paper from my stash and did simple white heat embossing of the sentiment. It is so pretty and so ornate! Fleurette did an amazing job drawing this one out! Very pretty as is, but you could certainly do it on regular cardstock and do some coloring. Even watercolor would be nice.

I used some rectangle dies for the sentiment and the card base is from Sizzix. I used foam adhesive to mount the sentiment panel. The gray colored paper is actually glitter paper and so very pretty! Could not get the sparkle. :(

It's a bit hard to see, but I added some crystal clear sequins. They kind of pick up the color they are adhered to. This paper is several years old and it's still available. It's probably one of my all time favorites. I prefer non traditional colors for Christmas and this is on the rustic side. So pretty!

This image in no way does it justice! You really need to see it in real life.

Ok, that's it. I'll provide links for products used. Check it out!

Christmas Ornament Shaker Card

Playing around with the new release from FBstamps. Some super cute images in this release and you'll deff want to check them out!

Here's a shaker card I made using the new moon image.

I had wanted to try the night sky background for a long time now. Just never did it. Well, I did for this one, and I must say, it was fun and quite easy. Can't really go wrong. Next time I'll not be as afraid of adding black. This could have gone a bit darker. But I'm happy with my first attempt.
I splattered white paint over all to create a starry sky.

I used a MamaElephant die to cut the window opening. Attached acetate on the back side and used foam tape to add the dimension needed.

I chose a mixture of sequins and seed beads for the shaker bits and then attached the back panel on top. I stamped my sentiment and added a few sequins for some sparkle. Paper pad is from BoBunny. An older pad but is still available. One of my favorites!

Here's my shopping list.

Another Peak of the new release....

Ok....so, I think this is the cutest pumpkin ever!!!
I decided to pull out some cute patterned papers I had for fall time and I stamped the pumpkin on one of the orange papers. Then I grabbed a few Copic markers and added some shading. I used white gel pen on the eyes and then a coating of Glossy Accents.

I pulled out some circle dies and made a layering to use on the center of the card. I used some foam tape for added dimension.

I also cut a little tag and stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment. I tied a bit of twine and glued it on the stem. The patterned paper for the background was also cut using a square die. It is cut to 4x4 and adhered to a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 size card base.

I found some enamel dots in a real soft gray that looked good with the patterned paper, so I put one in each corner. I don't often make this size card and don't know why....cause I like it for something different and it will still go in a standard A2 envelope.

Anyway, so there you have it. A super cute fall card that uses all patterned papers. Quick and easy yet super cute!
Head on over and check out the new release! Some really fun stamp sets are available for pre-order,

You're in my prayers.....

Altenew is one of my fave companies!!! LOVE them, and am acquiring a fair bit of stuff. I love their inks, so love them, and all the layering stamp sets. This one, though, is a solid stamp.

I kind of figured where I wanted them to lie on my card and used the coordinating die and cut it out. Then I positioned the sentiment and stamped is sticky ink and embossed with silver glitter embossing powder.
I cut silver glitter cardstock and layered it behind. I popped up the darker flower on one layer and the lighter on two layers. I offset it just a bit so the silver paper could be seen more.

I cut three of the berries (other misc dies in my stash) in silver as well and arranged around the flowers. Added some clear crystal bling and mounted it to the front of an A2 sized card base.

Calling this one finished!

Here's where to shop.

Hope this inspired you a bit. Happy Crafting!

New Product Release Sneak Peak....

ARE YOU READY!!!!
Yay!!! The time for Sneak Peaks of the new release is here!!! Are you ready for some cute stamp sets by Fleurette Bloom, aka FBStamps?!?!?!

I have a card to show you today using one of the new sets. Until Fleurette, I had no idea what a Sugar Skull was, lol! Just hadn't crossed my radar, lol. I do now, and soooo cute! Anyway, I used the Sugar Skulls Stamp Set for this card.

First thing I did was create a grid on my background using a T-square ruler and stamped the smaller Sugar Skull on a diagonal line to create a fun pattern. Then I grabbed some fun colors in my Distress Markers and watercolored in the skulls.
I cut a frame in black using a Pretty Pink Posh die and glued acetate to the back. I then used two layers of foam tape to have room for the sequins to shake. I chose sequin colors like the background and put them into the frame piece. Then I put the background piece on top. And shake, shake, shake! I love shakers!!!

I took the larger Sugar Skull and used black embossing powder. Then I chose just a few spots to add some pops of color....same as in the background. I used some Stickles to make the frames around the glasses nice and sparkly.
Then I embossed the sentiment on a strip of black and cut using the same frame die so it would nestle right into the scallops. Nice and tidy! Lol. I added some foam dimensionals to the back of the Sugar Skull and adhered it right above the strip. Added a few more sequins and then put that piece onto the front of an A2 sized card.
Keep watching! There will be new Sneak Peaks every day. Lots of cute new stamp sets and you won't wanna miss any of them.
Here's where you can shop for all the new goodies.

Hope you have fun watching the new stuff being shown, and hope you find a bit of inspiration as well!

Stenciling...

One of the products Fleurette Bloom designs are stencils. They are such a bargain and really versatile. I finally got one out to play.

I had Fleurette show me the proper alignment and then it was easy. I don't have an finger daubers and need to get some. But I have some sponge things on sticks, lol. I used Distress Inks and worked my way around the rose. I wish I'd have kept the center a bit lighter but next time I will. Once I had the parts of the rose stenciled, I trace the main piece onto a piece of masking paper and cut it out. I then laid it on the image and began to work on the other elements.

I felt it needed a stem, so I got out a fine brush and tried to sketch in a stem, soft and not harsh edges. I then used the stencil for just a couple of leaves.

I then began to work on the leaves. With the mask in place, it was pretty easy to not go over. Then I grabbed for the buds and some yellow ink and stenciled those. Lastly, I added the flower center.

Once I had the stenciling finished, I mixed up some black and some gold to add spatters to the card front. I stamped the sentiment and added some sequins. I matted with some black cardstock and mounted it to the card base with foam tape.

Hope you get a bit of inspiration from this card and get out your supplies and create your own.

Gerbera Daisy Shaker....

Here's a card made using the new Gerbera Daisy stamp set from FBStamps. It is a great set, and I love the images!

I stamped the images on watercolor paper and embossed with white embossing powder. Then I pulled out my Altenew inks and water colored them with pinks, oranges, and yellows.

I fussy cut them by hand and arranged as I liked them. I used a die from Mama Elephant to create the window to hold my shaker bits. I mounted it to the card front and added a few sequins with Ranger Multi Matte Medium.

I stamped the sentiment with clear sticky ink and embossed it white. I added foam squares to the left edge and glued the right edge right down flat.

I love how this came out, so pretty for summer! Here's what I used on this card.

Get Your Motor Running...

Here's a card made using a new stamp set from FBStamps. Guy cards are always a challenge and this new set is great! Great stamp set and great stencil to match/coordinate.

I started out by using the stencil and used several of the images to create a background. I used a couple of the light grays from Altenew. I love their ink!

I used the tire tread, the gear, the nut, and the large gear. I filled in the entire piece of cardstock. Then I sized it according the the size of the cycle and used a die to cut it. I stamped the cycle and fussy cut it out. I cut a piece of vellum for under the bike to soften the stamping a bit. I stamped the small gears and embossed with copper embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.

I put a copper brad in the center of each and added them to the front. I also stamped the greeting and embossed in copper as well. I added a bit of foam under it for dimension.

To finish off the card front, under the main element, I stamped some of those same small gears using a clear sticky ink, to just give a watermark look. Then I added the main element and called it finished.

Here's what I used.

You Are Loved....

I am a club member over at Stamps of Life, and once a month you get a stamp set AND dies to match! This is the set for June. I kinda went retro with a "Flower Child" kind of vibe, lol. Anyway, lots of color and a bright, happy card.

I pulled out several of my Altenew inks...my fave, by the way! And a couple of Hero Arts for the orange and bright green. I stamped a complete background and then die cut with a rectangle die. I changed up how I stamped the petals for each card.

Then using a mask, I masked the flowers to stamp the leaves closer to look like they were behind the flower.

I then did two more flowers and the stem and leaves, die cut them out, and popped up on foam squares. I placed those right over the matching flower on the card and trimmed off the excess.

I matted it to black card stock, tied around some twine and mounted it to the card base.
Stamped the sentiment and popped up as well. Scattered a few sequins, brushed on some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen, and called this one finished.

Hope you like it! Here's what I used.

There you have it. Get in there and play!

Rainbow Stars...

Have you guys seen all the awesome rainbow cards out there lately?! I just had to jump on the bandwagon. So fun.

So, I got out rainbow color Distress Inks and blended out a background. I used Tim Holtz watercolor paper for the blending. It's so easy on this paper.

I pulled out one of my Anna Griffin die plates and cut it out. Then, time consuming, added bits of foam tape all over the back...but so worth it!

I saved the bigger stars that got cut out and brushed them with Spectrum Noir sparkle pens to add fun shimmer. Sorry it doesn't show so well. I popped them up with bits of foam tape. A double layer on the center star so it's above everything else. Sentiment is embossed with platinum embossing powder.

I LOVE how this turned out and will deff be making more of these!

I got these plates from HSN but don't see them now. She does have others though. Check it out.

Get out your toys and play!!!

Thank You...

I have a card I made using one of the new stamp sets from Fleurette Bloom.
I love the HUGE Thank You stamp in this set. Here's my card.

I took all three butterflies and stamped them all over the background. I then grabbed some bright colors out of my Tombow brush markers and colored them in, blending the colors together.
I then took some black ink watered down and flicked tiny black specks all over.

I took out my sequin stash and picked some to match the colors in the butterflies. At the time I made this card, I didn't have Fleurette's sequins. I used foam tape all around and put acetate over top to hold the sequins in. I die cut a frame, watercolored it in teal and glued it on top of the acetate.
I stamped and fussy cut out the thank you sentiment and glued it on. Then added the sub sentiment and used a bit of foam under one end.
Finally, I colored three other butterflies, fussy cut, and adhered them on top of the acetate. Mounted the entire card front on to a piece of bright yellow card stock.
And there you have it, my finished card.

Here's the products I used.

So, pull out some crafting supplies and get your craft on! Be sure to head over to Fleurette Bloom and shop around...some super cute products in her store.

UR My Sunshine...

Here's a quick card post for you using the Sun Moon & Stars stamp set from FBStamps. I took some liberty with this stamp and I'll explain how. Here's a look at the card.

How cute, right?!
So, this sun stamp has a face in the center. I wanted to make it a "cutesy" sun so I masked off the face in the center. I then went through my PeachyKeen face stamps and picked one I liked. I embossed it all in gold. But that left the whites of the eyes yellow, like the watercoloring of the sun. Yuck!
So I grabbed an embossing pen I have and colored in the whites of the eyes and poured on some white embossing powder. Hoping it would work, I fired up the heat tool. And, yep, it worked!

I recently bough a small set of watercolors by Windsor & Newton. And some Arches, cold press watercolor paper. I tend to be heavy handed with the water, and this paper can really handle that. In fact, I find it takes a lot of water to work right. So, I painted this with those paints. I have a long way to go, but practicing is the only way to get there!

I used dies to cut the front panel of my card. Then I took some cloud dies from my stash. I cut three right into the front of the top layer. A couple, right off the edge. Then I cut a few different ones from vellum and used an embossing folder to add texture. I added some sequins first, so I'd know where I could hide the adhesive, as it shows bad on vellum. I used Range Multi Medium Matte as it's a very aggressive glue that dries matte.

Finally, I added an Action Wobble under the sun for some fun. When you flick it, it jiggles and spins...so fun!

So that's it. Hope you like my card and will try one of your own. Here's the stores you can get the products I used.

Rockin Quick Cards Rose...

Today I have a card from Fleurette Bloom to share with you. I've been slacking, lol. But I saw this rose in her store and have never made it and it is sooooo pretty!!! I hope you will like it as well. Here is how I made it.

I used my Sizzix Eclips2 and Ecal software to open the file for the rose from the Rockin Quick Cards set. I created two, one a little smaller than the other. Adjusted the sizes to fit the front of an A2 card.
After cutting, I took the outline layer and smooshed it really good with my Versamark Ink pad and covered with platinum embossing powder by Ranger and heat set it. Then glued it to the base layer. I used a spray adhesive cause it's really thin. Next time I'll use some Stick-It adhesive to the back before cutting.

Now that you have that together, the outline layer almost acts like a dam of sorts. Easy for coloring. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I chose to pinks and a green. I put the color down and used my Wink of Stella to blend.

I went back and forth with my colors trying to get some shaded areas. I'm not so good with those markers yet, but I'm working on it, lol.

I choose coordinating cardstock and layered it with some printed woodgrain paper from the Woodgrains set. I used the whitewash medium. LOVE this paper!!! I stamped my sentiment and used clear embossing powder for some shine. I cut the layers using some rectangle dies I have from Lawn Fawn. I used foam tape for a bit of dimension and adhered the layers. Then I placed my roses where I liked them and used foam squares for those as well.

I scattered around some sequins and enamel hearts for added interest and sparkle. I love how this card came out! The possibilities are endless! I can see some really nice watercolor background and then put the outline layer on. You could also break the image apart in the software and inlay the pieces like a puzzle and have a flat card. I want to try that too!

Thanks Fleurette, for such a cute set! Can't wait to make all of these.
So, there you have it. Really an easy card that has a big wow factor to it. You'll definitely wow your friends with this one!

Here's where you can get your files for these cute cards!

Happy Birthday Birdies....

Been slacking through the holidays, lol. Gotta get back in a routine!
Today I have a card post for you using some new stamps from Fleurette Bloom. I hope you like it!

I started out by making a mask with a circle cut out in the center. I lightly did some ink blending using a very soft green.  I then stamped the wreath in a bit darker green. I filled in using one of the leaves in the set.

I then die cut lots of the heart image and used the coordinating stamp using pink ink. I scattered them around the wreath, some put onto foam adhesive.

Then I die cut the little birds and stamped with Copic friendly ink. Used a couple blue markers and colored them in. Popped those up on foam tape as well.

I scattered some tiny pearls around as a final accent. Stamped the sentiment and put the card front onto a card base in a color that went nicely with the pink hearts.

A very simple card but sometimes, well, a lot of times, I really like that clean and simple look. Plus, they are much easier to make and take way less time and materials, lol! It's a win win!

Here's what I used on this card.
