First Day Of Spring...

So, it's the first day of Spring as I write this post. So, I had to do something Springy! I made a super cute tag for Easter. You could tie it on a bag of goodies, an Easter basket, or you could even add it to the front of a card.

Isn't it cute?! I love the sherbet color pallet! My fave papers for Spring. It is a digital set from Jessica Sprague by Design by Dani called Easter Best. I love it so much! Anyway I filled the separate images with papers from that collection. Printed and then cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

I inked all the edges, added white gel pen accents, and adhered with foam dimensionals for depth. See that shimmer on the eggs? I love my Wink of Stella glitter brush...I use it on almost anything and everything. Available at Simon Says Stamp. For the eggs, I created a shadow layer, glued to the edge of the tag, and then added the top layer of eggs with a foam square.

I think this chick is just so cute peeking out of this cracked egg! I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp instead of the teeny tiny pieces that would be cut. I threaded some hemp string through a hole I punched through all layers with a tiny hole punch. I also tied some on a button and used hot glue to attach it. The simple flag was cut on my trimmer and the flag end was hand cut. I stamped a simple sentiment, and called this one done. Oh...only after Wink of Stella on the sentiment too, lol!
