I just have to share the best news ever! We are going to be Grandparents for the first time! I am so excited for my daughter and her husband. They will be wonderful parents! I ask that you pray with me for this child's development. I am believing for a wonderful, full term pregnancy for her and that this will be one of the best times of her life! Can't wait to hold this little one in my arms!
Leave me some love and advice on spoiling babies and I will draw a winner in one week. Good luck, and spread the word! I will also throw in some cute baby embellishments! Thanks, guys!

Congratulations.... Cheryl you will be a wonderful grandmother. Well I can say is just give the baby unconditional love....
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! :) Just enjoy every moment with your 1st grandson/daughter as if there is no tomorrow. :)So happy for you.
ReplyDeleteGrandmothers cannot spoil their grandchildren. Their only job is to provide unconditional love. Mine made all the difference in my life. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI'm popping over from Celeste's, and all I can say is I'm so jealous. I can't wait to be a grammie, but I've got to get my daughter married off first (hopefully this August, so at least we're headed in the right direction.) Congratulations and blessings to you all. Your follower button isn't showing up right now. (Why does that happen so much?) Will come back & check it later.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Cheryl! How fabulous for you and your family. i don't really have any grandmotherly advice as I am not one yet, but I am sure it will come natural to you since you are so excited :) Praying for safe pregnancy and delivery and for a healthy baby! I am almost jealous :)
ReplyDeleteYou will absolutely LOVE being a grandmother! I have six grandchildren ranges in age from 13 years to 5 months. My advice is simple. HAVE FUN!

Congrats Cheryl - so happy for you I am sure you will be a wonderful Grandma!
ReplyDeleteThere is NOTHING better than being a grandparent. I have one three year old grandson, Jonas, who makes me smile every day. It's so wonderful to see them discover their world and see things fresh once again through their eyes. My advice is to spoil them with your time and love. They want nothing more than to have a book read to them, or to play with their cars in the dirt, or to blow some bubbles and giggle. Congrats to you and the new family to be and I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers!
ReplyDeleteAnd I just found your blog and am now a follower. So very nice to meet you! Stop by my blog sometime and give me a shout out!

Congratulations! There is no such thing as spoiling a grandbaby, just enjoy:) I am a new follower:) http://visionsofpaper.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower!! Congrats on being a grandma!! I had the honour of giving my parents their first grandchild (only one at the moment). Spoiling the child I would say just lots of hugs and kisses and spending as much time as possible with them. My daughter loves just spending time with my parents, when they are young they don't need to be given stuff, they don't know any different!! Hope this helps

I just recently became a grandparent for the 3rd time and there is absolutely NOTHING like grandchildren. You thought you loved your child/children, just wait until you see and hold this one. They just melt your heart. It is so hard to describe the feelings! I let my granddaughter do things I would NEVER let my children do and that is the fun of spoiling.
ReplyDeleteI don't ave any grandkids, but my mom says grandkids are waaay better than kids LOL Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! That must be super exciting for you!! My mom just became a grandma for the first time last year, and she was through the roof excited! Unfortunately, I have no advice for you. I have no children, and am still only 26... I am sure my mom will be super excited when my husband and I do decide to start having kids! Have fun, and Congrats again!!

Congratulations Cheryl. What wonderful news. I have a friend who became a grandmother for the first time. Even though her new grandson lives a state way, she has spent every opportunity she can with him. She is grateful that she did because her daughter and son-in-law are moving to Florida due to his job. Going from VT to NY was easy, Florida won't be. Cherish every moment you have with them. Besides growing up so quickly, you never know what life has in store.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Spend as much time as you can with your grandkids as they will remember it always!!!!

A SUPER HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, my kiddos are 17 to 2 (I have 5) so no grandbabies yet...but, I can tell ya, having my mother in law pass away when my 2nd child was 11 months old, I am super thankful for my mom. I would say most importantly is to show them lots of unconditional love, and give them LOTS of your time! The material things pass away, but the memories, as you know, are FOREVER! Thanks for doing this give away for such an awesome occassion!!!
Hi, Cheryl! I got your comment this morning that I'm a winner. Hurray! I'll look forward to seeing what you send. Thank you, and congratulations again.

Congratulations Cheryl. Prayers going out to your daughter. Its such a blessing to have kids and grand-kids. I have 2 kids of my own (3 and 9mon) and I just love them to pieces. My mom just loves being a grandma which was a surprise to me cause she just doesn't seem the type. I guess it must come natural. She also says its better to be a grandma cause you can spoil the grand-kids and then give them back...the raising them is up to us, lol.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Rosalee
Wow, your life is full of monumental moments right now! How on earth do you contain your excitement?!? Congratulations!!!
